THE PROGRAMME

Community Energy Futures is an exciting new programme designed to help community groups across Scotland understand the coming changes in the UK energy system and provide them with the knowledge and support to develop innovative renewable energy projects of their own with their local communities.

The programme consists of workshops which encourage interaction and discussion between participants. A case study approach is used which allows for an in-depth, multi-layered exploration of the complexities of energy-related projects in real-life settings. The workshops are followed by a tailored package of one-to-one support designed to help community groups move their energy project ideas forward.
